Highway is a non-denominational, Jesus-centered, egalitarian church community in Mountain View, CA. Our vision is to love God, love others, and do this together as we follow the way of Jesus here in Silicon Valley.
The Lectionary
The lectionary is essentially a way to journey through scripture. The goal of the lectionary is to give us a clear path so we can slow down, pull our eyes away from the immediate moment, and focus on something bigger: God’s story.
At Highway, we are using this framework for our Sunday sermons. We hope this ancient tool helps reorient us away from the hurried, consumer-driven calendar of the age, and toward a life of intention, of purpose, and of waking up to the big story God is telling!
